Here is something you should know. I love AI, and believe we are at the doorstep of an absolutely historic time in our history. Many things are going to change – some for the good and some for the bad. I believe the tools that are being built right now (and changing by the day) are incredibly useful – but they are tools to be used. Not to replace what we need to do – which is live our lives, interact, and share the one thing that AI will NEVER replace…

My ChatGPT can do an amazing job of describing what the Louvre Museum is and where it is located in Paris, France.
What it can’t do is to describe what the croissants taste like while waiting in line in anticipation – or the feeling you get when you realize the size of the Vermeer painting you just saw for the first time – or the number of languages being spoken in the packed crowd in front of the Mona Lisa.
It is an amazing tool. And I will use it almost every day. What I WON’T do is have it write these blog posts. Then I couldn’t call them mine.
